Established in 2009, CareerTrackers is a national non-profit with the goal of creating pathways and support systems for Indigenous young adults to attend and graduate from university, with high marks, industry experience and bright professional futures.
The organisation creates multi-year internships opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander university students. CareerTrackers Interns and Alumni represent a generation of Indigenous professionals who are changing the landscape of not only corporate Australia but of the wider Australian society.
Job Description
As the Alumni Program Manager you will:
Design and deliver the CareerTrackers Alumni Strategy
Communicate with Alumni frequently, providing program updates and securing participation
Drive Alumni engagement in core CareerTrackers activities, e.g. Program Day, Leadership Development Institute
Liaise with partners to co-design programs
Maintain up-to-date records of alumni contact information, engagement history
Manage the CareerTrackers jobs board and provide access to opportunities for Alumni
Utilise digital platforms and social media channels to connect with alumni and facilitate ongoing communicationn and engagement
Encourage ideas and interest from Alumni to innovate the program.
Please note this role can be located in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

The right candidate will:
have a naturally collaborative nature which will see you thrive in a team environment
has excellent communication skills across all levels with an ability to influence others using the CareerTrackers history, vision and strategic priorities
has experience initiating and coordinating a range of engagement programs that may incorporate virtual or in-person events
is an expert in stakeholder management. You will enjoy collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to increase alumni engagement, advocacy, and philanthropy.
Can work independently, driving projects to completion, as well as part of a geographically dispersed national team.
Must have a current Working With Children Check or willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
A bachelor qualification is preferred but not essential
