Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
CareerTrackers are seeking an energetic Regional Manager to lead, motivate and inspire a team to ensure the successful delivery of the CareerTrackers program, supporting organisational efficiency and driving performance outcomes. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the delivery of the CareerTrackers Program across Queensland and the Northern Territory. You will have strong commercial acumen and excel at managing and developing the capability of a small team.
You will have experience in building community trust and partnership, having worked with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Queensland, the Northern Territory and/or across the country. You will understand the importance of data that will inform how you implement, evaluate and manage all program-related activities. You will be committed to building and refining the organisation's strategic plan, aligning with the organisation’s culture of excellence that underpins future program and organisational enhancements.

Desired Skills and Experience
THIS PERSON WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Leading and motivating a team of team leads and their direct reports
Providing coaching and advice to team in order to achieve performance outcomes, while also fostering career growth
Contributing to the building and refinement of the organisation’s strategic plan and the strategic plan as it relates specifically to designated region
Managing own portfolio of community and university relationships
Upholding the national program delivery standards and practices, working closely with other Regional Managers to ensure a consistent approach
Cultivating a student-centric and collaborative culture through the work undertaken with university and community partners
Driving accountability and a solutions-focused and innovative mindset, including encouraging team to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices
Overseeing the management of relationships across university and community partners and supporting the team of advisors to effectively manage key stakeholder relationships
Coaching the team and ensuring they receive appropriate training in order to effectively deliver against program KPIs
Utilising data to evaluate progress towards team targets and identify achievements and areas of improvement
Effective communication to ensure any changes to national processes are implemented in a timely and structured way
Managing conflict situations, either internally or with key stakeholders to effectively diffuse a situation and reach a desired outcome
SELECTION CRITERIA
Awareness of, connection to and passion for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and community
Proven leadership experience that inspires and engages both own team and all other stakeholders to deliver outcomes
Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in the area of verbal and written communication with the ability to develop positive relationships with a range of stakeholders across industry, academic and community partners
Strong general knowledge of different careers and organisational structures/design across professional industries
Strong resilience and proven ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve ambitious targets and goals
Strong planning skills, attention to detail and an ability to use initiative, think laterally & strategically to meet deadlines and delivery outcomes
Willingness to take on varied tasks and display initiative
